About Suzi Hill, MSW, LCSW

I’ve always believed in the power of the human spirit and how we can connect with others.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I can help. My goal, and something I am very passionate about, has been about improving the quality of life for children, adults, and families.   Over the past 25 years, I have guided and supported clients in improving their communication & life skills, therefore establishing healthier relationships within themselves and with others.

Building and maintaining rapport with my clients is not only a strength but necessary. Empowering people to reach their full potential and live their best life is what caused me to become a therapist. I have experience and love working with people of all ages.

I help my clients with the following issues:

School Concerns

Development of Social Skills

Stress and Anxiety

Positive Parenting

Child and Adolescent Behaviors

Geriatric Concerns

A bit more about Suzi

I started my career at Jewish Family Services where I also interned while in graduate school. While a clinician there I worked with clients ages 5- 90. As I grew in my career, my passion for working with children allowed me to plan and implement an early intervention education program for emotionally handicapped preschoolers, conduct play therapy and group therapy with children. While working at an inpatient residential treatment center I was responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents experiencing social and psychiatric issues, including addictions. I worked for the Broward County school system as a therapist at a school for severely emotionally disturbed children for 10 years. In addition to providing therapy, I coordinated treatment plans, assessed students in crisis, and worked with community resources.

My approach is to listen, offer support and engage my clients in developing an individualized plan to help them successfully move through life’s challenges.  Therapy with me may include play therapy, individual and family therapy.
